An E-Mail from Wasilla

Anne Kilkenny, a self described “homemaker and education advocate” and resident of Wasilla Alaska, has known Sarah Palin a long time. She “got sideways” with Palin when Palin tried to fire the town librarian.

Anne wrote an email letter to some of her friends and it wasn’t long before it spread all over the internet. She has some positive things to say about Palin as well as some that should give us all some concern. Here’s a sample.

She’s not very tolerant of divergent opinions or open to outside ideas or compromise. As mayor, she fought ideas that weren’t generated by her or her staff. Ideas weren’t evaluated on their merits but on the basis of who proposed them.

This sounds like Dick Cheney in lipstick.

The entire letter is very good and is reprinted here.

From Anne Kilkenny:

I am just a housewife. I don’t have a job she can bump me out of. I don’t belong to any organization that she can hurt. But I am no fool; she is immensely popular here, and it is likely that this will cost me somehow in the future: that’s life.
